Wedding Season

is exhausting. Between wedding projects, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and other weddings to attend, I feel like all I think about is weddings. Luckily, I love weddings so it’s okay.

A few weeks ago my future (but not for much longer!) mother and aunt-in-law threw me my first bridal shower. Everyone was so generous and my hostesses made wedding bingo cards with adorable favors for the winners.

How cute is this apron Jacob’s mom gave me? I’m almost afraid to cook in it because I don’t want to get it dirty.

The food was AMAZING. This isn’t even all of it, seriously.
We drank delicious mimosas.

I am so excited to become an ‘official’ part of Jacob’s family. They welcomed me nearly 8 years ago, but in two weeks I will formally join the Leonard clan!
Two weeks later I came back to Little Rock for our dear friends Alex & Josh’s wedding. Jacob was Josh’s best man and Josh will be in our wedding too.

Me with the beautiful bride. (Ignore my sweaty grossness-it was really hot and we had been dancing a little crazy)

We had such a great time at their wedding and seriously can’t wait for the newlywed Clarks to move to Fort Smith (only 45 minutes away) in the next few weeks.

That Sunday three of my bridesmaids and oldest friends threw me my second bridal shower. I love and miss these girls so much and can’t wait to spend the wedding weekend with them. Apparently instead of the rehearsal dinner bow bouquet, they’ve decided the new tradition is to make one giant hair bow!

I know this was another long post, but with finding a few spare minutes to blog becoming increasingly rare, they’re probably all going to be like this for awhile. So much to blog, so little time!
