In case you’ve been wondering what my version of wedding planning is like, this is what my house has looked like for the last few months.
Yep, there’s my best friends Ms. Hot Glue Gun, Madame Rotary Cutter and Mr. Iron. You can’t see Mrs. Sewing Machine but she’s back there and we’ve all become pretty close lately. While I’m glad the stress is about to be over, I’m kind of sad that the crafting will be too.
I have so many funny and not-so-funny wedding planning stories to tell you when I get back and many, many, many DIY projects to share.
Today is my last day of work for a week and a half and consequently, we have a huge event tonight so I’ve been super busy with that in addition to the wedding craziness. Both sets of parents are arriving this evening and I’m excited to spend some quiet time with the fam before everyone else gets here. I have 7 things left on a To Do list that started with nearly 50 at the beginning of this week, so I think I’m doing pretty good. Tomorrow the plan is to set up for the welcome dinner in the morning, get manicures and pedicures in the afternoon, then rehearse and celebrate. I think something big is also supposed to happen on Saturday, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it is…
See you when I’m an old married woman,
