Welcome!

Welcome to my new {blog} home!  Since my blog address has been ‘futuremrsleonard’ and ‘currentmrsleonard’ doesn’t have the same ring to it, I’ve moved on to Jessi Makes Things. It’s still a work in progress, so please ignore the wonky links and weirdly sized images in some of the old posts. I’m having a hard time updating the blogger permalinks – if anyone knows anything about switching from blogger to wordpress I would love some advice. If you want to subscribe to my posts, click RSS in the menu at the top of the page or go to:

Now that I’ve finished with (almost all of) my wedding recaps I can finally blog about craft projects and all the other stuff going on in our daily lives. This weekend we hung out with our good friends Alex and Josh Clark. Alex already talked about our weekend over on her cute blog.

We played a new game Quelf which was hilarious.

Yes, Alex is wearing a dress made out of wrapping paper. And Jacob definitely had to ask his foot permission every time he wanted to speak.

The next morning Alex and I went to the Farmers’ Market and took two crazy exercise classes at my gym (picture my uncoordinated ass attempting an Urban Dance Fusion class). That evening we all went to the Tontitown Grape Festival. Tontitown is an italian community about 15 minutes outside of Fayetteville. The annual Grape Festival is famous for homemade spaghetti dinners and of course, grapes. They had grapes, grape ice cream, grape snow cones, and my favorite grape product, wine.  It was actually the first time we had gone to the festival in the 5 years that we’ve lived in Fayetteville. It was cheesy and as awesome as I had imagined. I had hoped to try the spaghetti, but the line was around the building! So what was for dinner? Only the next best thing. . .

We played awesome carnival games

Ricky won!

And rode crazy carnival rides

Getting a little scared. . .

Husband doesn’t like rides (especially mobile, poorly constructed carnival ones)

But don’t worry, we survived! I even busted out my sewing machine for a cute project on Sunday, more on that soon.

Hope you like the new blog, let me know what you think!
