We spent our first new year’s eve as homeowners hanging out at- you guessed it- our house. Luckily we had plenty of food and great friends to celebrate with.
I had Friday off so I was up cooking by 8. I baked all morning and met up with Randy and Tamara for lunch. They were only in the country for a few days, so unfortunately they couldn’t stay to celebrate New Year’s Eve. At least we got to show them the house and hang out for a few hours before they had to leave. Hopefully we’ll get to visit them in Switzerland soon-fingers crossed!
Back to the party: I made Texas Caviar, cheddar sausage balls, buffalo chicken dip, cream cheese with pepper jelly, and Italian beef. Alex brought the dessert-brownies and rice krispie treats.
I downloaded some cute decorations from Love the Day.
We played games
and had so much fun just waiting for the ball to drop
although we may have had a few too many glasses of champagne. . .
which may or may not have lead to a living room dance party

Luckily, we pulled ourselves together to catch the ball Snooki drop at midnight.
It was a fabulous way to ring in the new year.
So far 2011 has been pretty wonderful, and it will get even better when the Razorbacks beat Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl tonight! Woo Pig Sooie!

Oh my gosh! Best Post Ever!!!!! Seriously, I laughed so hard.
