Drumroll please. . . . . . . . .
I’m finally ready to show you guys my craft studio!
It’s been (basically) finished for about a month, but we didn’t get the pegboard hung until a few weeks ago.
Apparently I have a thing for red and black spray paint
And buttons.
The Starry Night rendition is my first and only attempt at oil painting. I painted it on the floor of my dorm room in my first semester of college.
I got this white storage bookcase from Target and already owned most of the fabric cubes that fit perfectly inside. Fabric scraps are hidden in one of the cubes, but I wrapped larger remnants around square pieces of foamboard.
I painted three of the walls (and, miserably, the ceiling) aqua blue and the other wall in chalkboard paint.
Still not sure what to do with the leftover curtain fabric
I still have plans for curtains and more art on the walls, but for now I’m really happy with it. It definitely beats sewing and painting on the dining room table.
I still have snowpacalypse pictures to share and even more nephew photos, but I haven’t had a spare second to blog lately. I have probably 15 posts started, but can never find the time to finish any of them. Ever since the move we’ve been so busy, both with work and personal stuff. I’m hoping things will slow down soon, but seeing as though we already have plans for almost every weekend until June, I don’t see that happening. .
This weekend is going to be even busier than usual. We have several (as in at least 5) house guests coming so I’m trying to get the house ready for an old-fashioned slumber party.
Long story short; so many things to blog about, not enough time.
So what do you think of my craft room?

I live with my husband Jacob and dog Lois in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I love painting, cooking, social media, lipstick and the Razorbacks.
