Right now Santa is on his way to our house and I’m finishing up some last minute wrapping. If you’re like me and still have some presents to adorn, here’s some of my favorite ways to dress up a Christmas gift.
For the last few years I’ve been using rolls of craft paper to wrap all of my gifts. It’s cheaper than traditional wrapping paper and I like that it’s essentially a blank slate for decorating.
You can tie them with pink and green ribbons if you’re into that sort of thing.
Or you could paint directly on the paper to dress up a plain gift.
I also like to buy a pack of blank tags and decorate them with paint, stickers or washi tape instead of using traditional gift tags.
Another cost-effective and personalized option is cutting letters and shapes out of scrapbook paper.
This year I made a storm trooper paper snowflake after seeing these and used it to decorate a gift for my Star Wars-loving soon-to-be brother-in-law.
