Weekend at the races

Last week my dear husband turned 26 years old, and to celebrate we spent the weekend in Hot Springs with his family.

We spent the day on Saturday at the Oaklawn horse track

We placed some bets, drank some booze, watched the pretty horses, and gorged ourselves on the famous corned beef sandwiches.

If possible, my nephew has gotten even cuter since the last time I saw him.

We even ran into BFF Christine at one point

We ended the day with dinner and a fancy cake cosmic brownie cake on a truck bed with candles.

We may not have won any money, but it was a really great weekend. Happy Birthday Jacob!
