Fact: I haven’t taken any pictures on my phone so far this year other than some funny text screenshots to send to Jacob and Lois’ attempt at dog shaming.
I blame the fact that my iPhone storage is ALWAYS almost full.

So how’s 2013 going for you?
I’m not going to lie, parts of 2012 were pretty rough for me. I managed to lose 12 pounds before we went to Florida with my family last July. Unfortunately, last fall I was so stressed out (and have the chiropractor bills to prove it) that I gained back all of the weight that I lost last summer plus another ten pounds.
This summer I am not only going to be the matron (could there be a more unflattering term for us married gals?) of honor in my sister’s wedding, but we are heading back to Florida with Jacob’s family for a week. This is the most cliche ‘January Joiner’ mentality ever, but I AM going to lose this damn weight and get back in shape. *And look bangin’ in that bridesmaid dress/ swimsuit* Jacob and I are currently training for a half marathon and another Warrior Dash. We’re also doing a fitness challenge with some of my co-workers that’s motivating me to move more each day (more on that later taters).
So far it’s going really well. I’m down 8 pounds since Christmas and feelin’ awesome. Ask me again in six months. No, seriously please do. Accountability y’all.
I feel like we have so much to catch up on, but I’ll have to stop for now because my dear sweet husband has the flu and needs his nurse.

8lb since Christmas?! That’s fantastic!! Way to go! I’m seriously lacking motivation to lose these last few pregnancy pounds…ugh. Sometimes I want to feed Jack more often than he needs just so I can take advantage of the calorie burning benefits…yep mom of the year right here. ha!
