Happy Tuesday y’all. It is really Tuesday, right? I’ve felt like it was Wednesday all day and keep getting confused. The day of the week, however, is irrelevant to my next announcement.
I’m opening a store! Kind of.
Several virtual stores if you will.
In the menu under the Jessi Makes Things logo, there is an exciting new addition!
I’ve mentioned before how I have been taking commissions for Razorback paintings. Well, now I have a whole page devoted to them. If you click on the Shop menu button you’ll see that I have a few other ideas in progress as well.
Which is going to help me (hopefully) cross off a few tasks from my 101 in 1001
You also might have noticed that Jessi Makes Things is now available for subscription on Kindle. Fancy, huh?
I doubt anyone will actually read it, but in the meantime it sure is fun to have a fancy button and all.
Can’t wait to show you guys more in the next few weeks!
I know I mentioned my New Year’s resolutions on Saturday, but lately I have found myself wanting to commit to an even bigger set of goals, and the start of a new year was the perfect opportunity.
I feel like I’m at a very comfortable place in my life. I have a nice house, a good job, and a wonderful marriage. It would be all too easy to become apathetic and sedentary in my lifestyle. I feel like I’m straddling the line between complacency and growth. This is the time for me to have all the adventures I can, and I need something to hold me accountable to my aspirations. Enter 101 in 1001: 101 things tasks to complete in 1001 days.
I’ve seen the 101 in 1001 challenge around the blogosphere for quite a while. I started brainstorming my list a few weeks ago, and finalized it over the New Years weekend.
Jenna has some good links to other bloggers’ lists and websites if you’d like to know more about it. I plan to post about as many of the tasks as I can as I accomplish them. Also, I put a link on the right of the blog so you can periodically click and see how I’m doing if you happen to be so curious.
I’m excited to embark on this challenge, and hopefully I’ll check back in 2.75 years with a fully completed list!
